We batted first and didn’t lose a wicket until the 26th over.
Chopper took a wicket with the first ball on the innings and again took a wicket with the 1st ball of his next over. 2/1
Naturally we lost by 8 wickets in 16 overs.
The development squad opened and thought they should play cricket shots. I’m glad V wasn’t there to see it. Jordan got a nice 62 but Jeff was very slow. Just the 1 drop, by Spiro in the last or 2nd last over, a dolly off Nathan who was almost in tears. Daryl took the two catches off Chopper as the keeper.
The Shanachies BBQ was a bit of a non-event.
I should lodge a protest about their scoring. One of their batsmen was 48 when they past our score but they kept playing just so he could get his 50. I guess his mates like him more than we like Bobo when we left him 99 no.
